NovaMap Health has the mission of developing the very best tools to support the adoption of FHIR. They develop and sell a suite of integration and data quality tools to support the transition to using FHIR (Fast Healthcare Information Resources), the new global standard for health data transfer. NovaMap approached us with the goal of creating a brand identity and implementation toolkit, enabling them to launch the business.

Challenge

NovaMap approached us with the goal of creating a brand identity and implementation toolkit, enabling them to launch the business. They needed an identity which reflected the business, its offering and the marketplace, which could then be applied to a raft of materials by the NovaMap team.

Solution

Working with the founders, we helped develop a vision for the business that centred on putting the patients data at the heart of the identity.

NovaMap is an intelligent system that can brings together patients data, records and notes into a single access point. Historically, records are held on multiple databases and outdated systems which can not be accessed easily or quickly. NovaMap's mission is to develop the very best tools to support the adoption of HL7 FHIR, the new global standard for exchanging healthcare data.

We devised a brandmark that represents the overlapping of patient data, brought into a single location by NovaMap's tools. This created not only a graphical element for all materials, but also a narrative to what NovaMap provide.

Result

The result is a powerful brand identity, that stands out in the healthcare sector. It has been well received by both internal audiences and customers alike. The brandmark embodies what the business provides and our powerful colour palette reinforces NovaMap's ambition.

The visuals are bold and our use of colour and 3D imagery helps to add interest in a sector which is full of the generic. The brandmark has been created so that it can be easily animated in the future to bring the narrative to life as the business expands. Our branding involved everything from business cards, communications and website.

NovaMap Health launched at the end of August 2023.

Project Details
