The current IMI Critical website needed to be updated to better support the needs of the users and showcase their diverse portfolio of products, whilst maintaining the majority of the existing pages and content.

Working with the team at IMI Critical we conducted several workshops to map out the user journeys and identify any gaps in page templates and controls. What became clear was that the product pages could be kept, but the structure of how you reached them needed to be improved through better storytelling, navigation signposting, calls to actions and customised searches and forms. Whilst working on the creation of new page templates and controls we also addressed the accessibility level of the website.

We’ve given the news and events section a complete redesign. Allowing you to find what you’re looking as quickly and easily as possible. We’ve added FAQ sections to help you get all the info you need.

By retaining the strong points of the existing website, expanding upon it throughout we’ve been able to create a more compelling and dynamic expression of the IMI Critical brand, whilst placing the needs of the user at the core of the new website. The user experience for both the customers and clients has been significantly improved without the need for a completely new solution.

• Completely redesign navigation and predictive search
• Sophisticated but user-friendly search tools
• New page templates
• News and Events section given a major makeover
• Lazy loading to add dynamism and allow time for video to load.
