History is to learn from. Igentics was founded in 2001, returning us to our roots as an independent agency following a period as part of a US online security company during the .com boom. We’ve done a million things and there are many more to come. We have grown to become a leading digital marketing agency, within the historic city of Cambridge.

Born as a technical agency, our path has led us to where we are – a digital marketing agency in Cambridge. The new V Club portal was launched to consultants in January, to schedule and to budget and delivers all the core functionality required by the Vie at Home management team and vastly increasing the services and functionality available to the Vie consultants.

challenging times

With the successful MBO of Vie at Home from the Virgin brand came a series of opportunities and responsibilities. A key element to both of these was the portal used by the Vie at Home consultants: V Club. Driven by SharePoint the portal had become unwieldy and difficult to manage, and was due for a refresh to help enable the Vie consultants to deliver against the long term objectives for themselves and the Vie at Home business as a whole.

Based upon the existing relationship the team at Igentics were commissioned to review the technology options and deliver a recommendation over the solution that should be implemented. Working to a strict set of requirements and a defined budget a number of solutions were explored and benchmarked, resulting in a recommendation for SiteCore (www.sitecore.co.uk) as the core CMS product for Vie at Home.
